Harcourt PS played host to the ARL Development’s New Backyard League program on Wednesday 2nd December. The entire school which consists of 550 plus students was able to showcase their talents in the New Backyard League format.

Students showed an exceptional level of skill throughout the day. Even many that have never been exposed to or played Rugby League before showed real promise. Teacher’s closely monitored their students and were pleasantly surprised at the level of coordination that they showed.

For all of these students it was their first taste at Backyard League, so hopefully we can pay them another visit next year and develop their skills and knowledge of the game further and finish with a intra school gala day.
