2007 Volunteer of the Year

The New South Wales Rugby League recognised its Volunteers of the Year in an inaugural ceremony at Balmain Leagues Club last night, with more than 260 people in attendance.

The night combined the annual Junior League Christmas function with the presentation of Volunteer of the Year awards from each Junior League District. Each District named their own award and nominated their recipient based on their own criteria.

Among the highlights of the night were the NSWRL Junior League Life Memberships awarded to Julie Luke and Paul Tycehurst, with John Riordan being named NSWRL Junior League Patron.
