About Us
ARL Development is a non-profit company formed by the ARL (Australian Rugby League) and NRL (National Rugby League) to develop the grassroots of the sport from introductory level up to the age of 18 years.
ARL Development works within the pre-existing development framework established by Clubs and State Leagues to augment existing programs and establish new development initiatives.
ARL Development has a Board consisting of three independent Directors, two Directors representing the ARL, two from the NRL, one Director representing coaching and one Director representing juniors.

The General Manager of ARL Development is Bill Palmer who came to ARL Development after 13 years as the Chief Executive of the National Basketball League.
ARL Development was incorporated as a company Limited by Guarantee on 4th October 1999 (ACN 089 809 745).
