Privacy

Privacy Legislation compels Rugby League organisations to have in place a Privacy Policy and abide by the National Privacy Principles as outlined in the Privacy Act 1988 (Commonwealth).

Whilst an organization’s necessity to comply with this legislation is determined by matters such as turnover, medical services provided and records kept, it is best-practice for all Rugby League organizations to have a Privacy Policy.

For further information, please refer to the Australian Sports Commission website at: http://www.ausport.gov.au/ibp/privacy.pdf

Your feedback on this policy is welcome.  Queries should be addressed to the ARL Risk Manager, Rod Hughes at rodhughes@arldevelopment.com.au
